Privacy & cookies
This page covers what Vincosha collects when you browse this website, and how to stop it. Last updated 26 July 2026.
The short version
You can read every page on this site without accepting anything. Analytics is off until you turn it on, and nothing about you is stored on your device for analytics purposes before you do.
We do not sell personal data, we do not run advertising or retargeting on this site, and we do not build profiles of visitors across other websites.
Analytics
If you allow it, we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people find useful and where they give up. We use it to decide what to write and what to fix — not to identify you.
The lawful basis is your consent. Until you give it, Google Analytics runs in a consent-denied mode: it sets no cookies and reads nothing already on your device. We may still receive an anonymous, cookieless signal that a page was viewed, which cannot be tied to you or to your other visits.
When you do allow it, Google receives your IP address to derive an approximate location and then discards it — GA4 does not store IP addresses. It also receives your page URL, referrer, browser, device type and language, and a randomly generated identifier for your browser.
Cookies this site sets
Only if you allow analytics. Both are first-party cookies set by Google Analytics, and both expire two years after your most recent visit:
_ga— distinguishes one browser from another so repeat visits are not counted as new people._ga_61NZ1CL8KL— keeps track of a single visit so pages viewed one after another are grouped into one session.
If you decline, neither is ever written. There are no other analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this site.
Your choice
You can change your mind at any time, and declining later stops collection from that moment. Withdrawing is as easy as granting:
Who else is involved
Google LLC processes analytics data on our behalf. If you are in the UK or the EEA, that involves a transfer to the United States, which Google covers under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses.
This site is served through our hosting provider, which processes request logs — including IP addresses — as a necessary part of delivering the page and defending against abuse. That is not analytics and does not depend on your consent, because the site cannot be served without it. Those logs are short-lived.
Accounts and the product
This page is about the Vincosha website. If you create an account, the data you and your organisation put into the product is handled under your agreement with us rather than this notice, and it is never mixed into website analytics — the signed-in product runs on a separate origin that loads no analytics at all.
For a data processing agreement, a security questionnaire, or details of subprocessors, contact us and we will send the current versions.
Your rights and how to reach us
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to processing, or to receive a copy. Exercising any of them costs you nothing and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Email hello@vincosha.com and a person will answer. If you are in the EEA or the UK and are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
